भूतों का कोई वास्तविक आकार नहीं होता| वह किसी भी शरीर में जाकर, उसी के अनुरूप बदल जाते हैं| इसी से प्रेरित होकर यह घोस्ट की कहानी लिखी गई है| भूतिया कहानी पढ़ने में रोमांचक होती है और ऐसी ही रोमांचक कहानी हैं, भूतिया चिड़ियाघर| शहरों में लोगों की आबादी लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है, इसके लिए रिहायशी इलाक़े भी बढ़ते जा रहे हैं और रिहायशी कॉलोनियों को बनाने के लिए जंगल कट रहे हैं, लेकिन जंगल में रहने वाले जीव जन्तु, रिहायशी विकास से सबसे ज़्यादा प्रभावित हो रहे हैं| ऐसे ही सरकारी आदेश के अनुसार, एक जंगल काटा जा रहा था| उस जंगल में बहुत से जंगली जानवर थे, जिनको संरक्षित करने के लिए एक चिड़िया घर बनाने पर विचार चल रहा था| ठीक तभी प्रशासनिक निर्णय से एक बहुत पुराने खंडहर को, चिड़ियाघर में बदल दिया जाता है और कटे हुए जंगलों से, जितने भी जानवर पकड़े गए हैं, उन्हें इसी चिड़ियाघर में लाकर रख दिया जाता है| लेकिन सभी इस बात से अनजान थे कि, यह खण्डार कोई साधारण भवन नहीं है, बल्कि भूतों का एक रहस्यमयी ठिकाना है| आज भी कई भूत खंडहर के कोने कोने में उपस्थित हैं और प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों को, भूतों की दहशत का नमूना, जल्द ही दिखाई देने वाला था, क्योंकि जितने भी जानवरों को खंडहर में लाया गया था| सभी के बर्ताव डरावने हो चुके थे| उनके पिंजड़े के क़रीब जाते ही, वह ज़ोर ज़ोर से आवाज़ निकालने लगते| मामला जानवरों से जुड़ा था, इसलिए पशुचिकित्सक को चिड़िया घर बुलाया जाता है, लेकिन पशु चिकित्सक को भी कुछ ख़ास जानकारी नहीं मिलती| सभी जानवरों के खून की जाँच करने के बाद भी, उनके शरीर में किसी तरह का कोई इन्फेक्शन नहीं पाया जाता|

दरअसल जानवरों के अंदर भूत होना कल्पना से परे था, इसलिए पशुचिकित्सक अपने विज्ञान के माध्यम से इलाज करने का प्रयास कर रहे थे| बहुत जल्द चिड़ियाघर दर्शकों के लिए खोला जाना था, लेकिन जानवरों का ऐसा हाल देखकर, आम जनता के लिए चिड़ियाघर खोलने के फ़ैसले पर रोक लगा दी जाती है| शासन की मुश्किलें बढ़ती जा रही थी और जानवरों की हालत, बद से बदतर होती जा रही थी| उन्हें एहसास होने लगा था कि, जानवरों के, जंगल को काटकर, शायद हमने बहुत बड़ी गलती की है| चिड़िया घर के अंदर भालू, हाथी, शेर, साँप और कई तरह के पक्षी रह रहे थे| एक रात सभी जानवर, भूतिया प्रभाव से उग्र हो जाते हैं और खंडहर की दीवारों को, धक्का मार मार के गिरा देते हैं| दीवार गिरते ही, सभी जानवर रिहायशी क्षेत्रों की तरफ़ दौड़ पड़ते हैं| भूतिया चिड़ियाघर ख़ाली हो चुका था और सड़कों में जानवर, मौत का तांडव मचा रहे थे| रास्ते से निकलने वाली गाड़ियों को हाथी अपने हमले से क्षतिग्रस्त कर रहे थे और शेर, चीते इंसानों को कई टुकड़ों में काट रहे थे| शहर की सड़कों पर खून की नदियां बहने लगी और प्रशासन हाथ में हाथ धरे बैठा था| किसी को कुछ समझ में नहीं आ रहा था, कि इतने सारे जानवरों को कैसे क़ाबू में किया जाए| सारे शहर में कर्फ्यू लगा दिया गया था| सभी को लग रहा था कि, जंगली जानवर अचानक जंगलों के कटने से पागल हो चुके हैं, इसलिए इतना नरसंहार कर रहे हैं| किसी भी क़ानून में, इंसानों की जान को, प्राथमिकता दी जाती है, इसलिए जंगली जानवरों को मारने के आदेश जारी कर दिए जाते हैं और आदमख़ोर जानवरों को, हेलिकॉप्टर की मदद से ट्रैक किया जाने लगता है|

शहर के चारों तरफ़ मौत मंडरा रही थी| जानवर अब कॉलोनियों में घुस कर, लोगों के घर तोड़ने लगे| जानवरों की दहशत से कोई पहाड़ में भाग रहा था तो, कोई पेड़ में चढ़ रहा था| सब कहीं न कहीं, अपनी जान बचाने में लगे हुए थे| सारे शहर में आर्मी तैनात कर दी जाती है और आर्मी टैंक रोड पर, जानवरों को ढूंढ ढूंढकर मार रहे होते हैं, लेकिन जानवरों के अंदर भूत सवार थे, इसलिए वह बेख़ौफ़ होकर, आर्मी के टैंकों की धज्जियाँ उड़ा देते हैं| हाथी अपनी ज़ोरदार टक्कर से, कई टैंकों को धराशायी कर देते हैं| जानवर किसी के कंट्रोल में नहीं आ रहे थे| तभी अचानक ऊपर उड़ रहे हेलीकॉप्टर पर, एक विशालकाय बाज़, झपट्टा मार देता है, जिससे हेलीकॉप्टर का संतुलन बिगड़ जाता है और हेलीकॉप्टर घने जंगल में जा गिरता है, जिससे जंगल में एक ज़ोरदार धमाका होता है और हेलिकॉप्टर के अंदर उपस्थित सभी लोगों की जान चली जाती है| भूतिया जानवरों ने आतंक मचा दिया था, लेकिन इसके लिए ज़िम्मेदार हम लोग थे, जिन्होंने उनके जंगलों को, अपने फ़ायदे के लिए कटने दिया और जंगली जानवरों को मजबूरी में उस भूतिया चिड़ियाघर में आकर रहना पड़ा| आर्मी की गोली से अचानक एक शेर मर जाता है, जिसे उठाकर अनुसंधान केन्द्र लाया जाता है, ताकि उसकी जाँच से पता लगाया जा सके है कि, सभी जानवर किस वजह से ऐसा बर्ताव कर रहे हैं| सभी परीक्षणों की रिपोर्ट आने के बाद, वैज्ञानिकों को पता चलता है कि, जानवरों के मानसिक हार्मोनल परिवर्तन हुए हैं और यह बदलाव कुछ समय पहले ही हुए हैं, लेकिन ऐसा क्यों हुआ और जानवर ऐसा किस वजह से कर रहे थे, इसका पता खंडहर के अंदर ही चल सकता था, वैज्ञानिकों को खंडहर में कुछ संदेह उत्पन्न होता है, इसलिए वह जाँच करने के लिए, अपने यंत्रों के साथ, उसी भूतिया चिड़ियाघर पहुँच जाते हैं और सारे खंडहर के कोने कोने की, फ़्रीक्वेंसी की जाँच करते हैं|

तब उन्हें अपने डिवाइस पर, आत्माओं के होने के संकेत दिखाई देते हैं| वैज्ञानिकों को पता चल जाता है कि, सभी जानवरों के शरीर को भूत प्रेतों ने क़ब्ज़ा कर लिया है और अब भूत ही शहर में आतंक मचा रहे हैं| वैज्ञानिक प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों से मुलाक़ात करते हैं और बताते हैं कि, सभी जानवरों के आदमखोर बनने की वजह, भूतिया आत्माएँ है जो, कि उस खंडहर में मौजूद हैं| हमें जानवरों के अंदर से भूत निकालना होगा, ताकि जानवरों को संरक्षित जा सके और शहर को श्मशान बनने से रोका जा सके| जानवरों को पकड़ने के लिए, स्पेशल कमांडो की एक टीम बनायी जाती है, जिन्हें कुछ ख़ास हथियार दिए जाते हैं| कमांडो एक एक करके, सभी जानवरों को “बुलेट गन इंजेक्शन” की मदद से क़ाबू में कर लेते हैं, लेकिन मजबूरी में कुछ जानवरों को, जान से मारना पड़ता है| जानवरों को रिसर्च सेंटर लाया जाता है और उनके मानसिक बर्ताव को, ठीक करने के लिए, उनका न्यूरो हार्मोन ट्रांसप्लांट किया जाता है| कई दिनों के इलाज के बाद, सभी जानवरों की हालात ठीक होने लगती है, लेकिन उस भूतिया चिड़ियाघर को हमेशा हमेशा के लिए, ध्वस्त कर दिया जाता है| भूत केवल इंसानों को नहीं, जानवरों को भी क्षति पहुँचा सकते हैं, यह बात वैज्ञानिकों को समझ में आ चुकी थी और जानवरों के आतंक के ख़त्म होने के साथ, ये कहानी भी समाप्त हो जाती है|

                                                  Haunted Zoo

Ghosts have no real form; they can inhabit any body and transform accordingly. This story of a ghost is inspired by this idea. Ghost stories are thrilling to read, and one such thrilling story is "The Haunted Zoo." In cities, the population is constantly increasing, leading to the expansion of residential areas and the clearing of forests to build these colonies. However, the animals living in these forests are the most affected by this residential development. According to a government order, a forest was being cut down. This forest was home to many wild animals, and there was a plan to build a zoo to protect them. Just then, by administrative decision, a very old ruin was converted into a zoo, and all the animals caught from the cleared forests were brought and kept there. But everyone was unaware that this ruin was no ordinary building, but a mysterious dwelling place of ghosts. Even today, many ghosts are present in every corner of the ruin, and the administrative officials were soon to witness a terrifying display of the ghosts' power, because all the animals brought to the ruin had started behaving strangely. As soon as anyone approached their cages, they would make loud noises. Since the matter involved animals, a veterinarian was called to the zoo, but even the veterinarian couldn't find anything conclusive. After examining the blood of all the animals, no infection was found in their bodies.

The idea of ​​ghosts possessing the animals was beyond imagination, so the veterinarian was trying to treat them through scientific methods. The zoo was soon to be opened to the public, but seeing the condition of the animals, the decision to open the zoo was put on hold. The government's difficulties were increasing, and the condition of the animals was getting worse. They began to realize that perhaps they had made a huge mistake by cutting down the forest and displacing the animals. Inside the zoo lived bears, elephants, lions, snakes, and many kinds of birds. One night, all the animals, driven mad by a ghostly influence, pushed down the walls of their enclosures. As soon as the walls fell, all the animals rushed towards the residential areas. The haunted zoo was empty, and the animals were wreaking havoc on the streets. Elephants were damaging vehicles with their attacks, and lions and tigers were tearing humans to pieces. Rivers of blood flowed through the city streets, and the authorities were helpless. No one understood how to control so many animals. A curfew was imposed throughout the city. Everyone thought that the wild animals had suddenly gone mad due to deforestation and were therefore committing such a massacre. Since human lives are given priority in any law, orders were issued to kill the wild animals, and the man-eating animals were tracked using helicopters.

Death was hovering all around the city. Animals were now entering the colonies and breaking into people's homes. Some people were fleeing to the mountains in terror of the animals, while others were climbing trees. Everyone was trying to save their lives in any way they could. The army was deployed throughout the city, and army tanks were roaming the roads, hunting and killing the animals. But the animals seemed possessed; they fearlessly destroyed the army tanks. Elephants, with their powerful charges, brought down several tanks. The animals were completely out of control. Suddenly, a giant eagle swooped down on a helicopter flying overhead, causing it to lose balance and crash into the dense forest. A massive explosion rocked the forest, killing everyone on board. The possessed animals had unleashed terror, but we were responsible for this, as we had allowed their forests to be cut down for our own benefit, forcing the wild animals to live in that haunted zoo. Suddenly, a lion was killed by army gunfire. Its body was taken to a research center so that tests could be conducted to determine why all the animals were behaving this way. After receiving the reports of all the tests, the scientists discovered that the animals had undergone mental and hormonal changes, and these changes had occurred recently. But why this had happened and what was causing the animals to behave this way could only be discovered within the ruins. The scientists became suspicious of something in the ruins, so they went to the haunted zoo with their equipment to investigate, checking the frequency in every corner of the ruins.

Then, their devices showed signs of the presence of spirits. The scientists realized that the bodies of all the animals had been possessed by ghosts and spirits, and it was these spirits that were now wreaking havoc in the city. Scientists meet with administrative officials and explain that the reason all the animals have become man-eaters is due to the ghostly spirits residing in the ruins. They state that the spirits must be exorcised from the animals to save them and prevent the city from becoming a graveyard. A team of special commandos is formed to capture the animals, and they are given special weapons. The commandos subdue the animals one by one using "bullet gun injections," but some animals have to be killed out of necessity. The animals are brought to a research center, and neuro-hormone transplants are performed to correct their mental behavior. After several days of treatment, all the animals begin to recover, but the haunted zoo is demolished forever. The scientists have now understood that ghosts can harm not only humans but also animals, and with the end of the animal terror, the story concludes.
