रूहानी ताक़तें हमारे आस पास हमेशा मंडराती रहती हैं| उनकी एक अलग ही दुनिया होती है, जो वास्तविकता में तो दिखाई नहीं देती, लेकिन कुछ घटनाओं से महसूस ज़रूर होने लगती है| ऐसी ही एक हवेली के भूत की है| दरअसल एक पुरानी हवेली है, जिसमें कई साल पहले, राजा महाराजा रहा करते थे, लेकिन अब वह वीरान पड़ी है, क्योंकि उन राजाओं के वारिस देश से बाहर जा चुके हैं| हवेली की हालत जर्जर हो चुकी है| अब उसे मरम्मत की ज़रूरत है| इसके लिए शासन के नोटिस के अनुसार संपत्ति के मालिक को सूचित किया जाता है| कुछ दिनों में पूर्व राजाओं के वारिस में से, एक लड़की हवेली में अपने बच्चे के साथ दाख़िल होती है जो कि, उस ज़माने के राजा के नाती की, लड़की थी| उसका नाम उर्मिला था| उसके पति की कार एक्सीडेंट में मौत हो चुकी थी| अब वह विधवा हो चुकी है, लेकिन उसके पास उसका एक बेटा है जो, आठ वर्ष का है और वह भी, अपनी माँ के साथ हवेली आया है| हवेली बहुत विशाल थी, इसलिए उसकी साफ़ सफ़ाई के लिए, कई मज़दूर बुलाया गए| जिन्हें चप्पे चप्पे की सफ़ाई करने का ठेका दिया गया| किसी को नहीं पता कि, हवेली के कोने कोने में कितने ख़ूनी रहस्य छुपे हुए हैं| उर्मिला के आने के बाद, हवेली की हवा रूहानी होने लगती है| ऐसा लग रहा था मानो, कोई वर्षों से इंतज़ार कर रहा था, इस हवेली के वारिस का|
एक रात उर्मिला अपने कमरे में, अपने बच्चे के साथ सो रही होती है, अचानक उसके खिड़की से एक पक्षी टकरा कर मर जाता है| यह घटना अपने आप में, आसामान्य थी| पक्षी टकराते ही, उर्मिला की नींद खुल जाती है और जब वह लाइट जलाकर देखती है तो, डर से चीखने लगती है क्योंकि, उस कमरे की खिड़की से, एक पक्षी फँसा हुआ था और उसके शरीर से खून की बूँदें फ़र्श पर गिर रही थी| नज़ारा इतना भयावह था कि, वह अपने बच्चे को उठाना नहीं चाहती थी, लेकिन उर्मिला हिम्मत करके, उस पक्षी को खिड़की से बाहर फेक देती है, लेकिन इसके बाद उसे रात भर नींद नहीं आती और वह सुबह तक जागती रहती है| दरअसल वह जानना चाहती है कि, यह किसी की शरारत तो नहीं| सुबह होते ही, वह अपने यहाँ काम कर रहे मज़दूरों से, जाकर कहती है कि, “रात को मेरे कमरे की खिड़की पर, कोई पक्षी आकर टकराया था और तुरंत मर गया, क्या तुम लोगों में से किसी ने यह हरकत की है, क्योंकि पक्षी ख़ुद बख़ुद तो, खिड़की से नहीं टकरा सकता”| मज़दूर कहते हैं, “नहीं हमने तो खिड़की से नीचे किसी पक्षी को, मरा हुआ नहीं देखा| हम तो अभी वहाँ से चले आ रहे हैं” और जब सभी जाकर देखते हैं तो, वहाँ वह पक्षी नहीं होता| उर्मिला घबराने लगती है कि, यह क्या ? यहाँ तो पक्षी होना चाहिए या कम से कम खून की कुछ बूंदें दिखनी चाहिए, लेकिन यहाँ पर पक्षी का, एक पंख तक नहीं पड़ा हुआ| उर्मिला सभी मज़दूरों को कहती है कि, “हवेली में बहुत सी क़ीमती चीज़ें और मूर्तियां हैं, सम्हाल के साफ़ सफ़ाई करना”| मज़दूर अपने अपने काम में लग जाते हैं| उर्मिला अपने बच्चे के साथ, कमरे में TV देख रही होती है कि, अचानक हवेली की छत से, एक मज़दूर नीचे गिरता है| उर्मिला को अचानक लोगों की आवाज़ सुनाई देती है| वह भागकर खिड़की से नीचे देखती है तो, एक मज़दूर की लाश पड़ी होती है|
उर्मिला कमरे से नीचे आती है और इसके गिरने का कारण पूछती है| लोगों के जबाब, अलग अलग होते हैं| कोई कह रहा होता है कि, इसने ख़ुद आत्महत्या की है और कोई कह रहा था कि, यह गलती से गिर गया है| सभी के दावे अलग थे, लेकिन उर्मिला को, कुछ अनकही बातें सुनाई दे रही थी| उर्मिला के कान में, अचानक एक आहट के साथ आवाज़ आती है| “अपने बच्चे को बचा सकती है तो, बचा ले”| उर्मिला यह वाक्य सुनते ही, अपने कमरे की तरफ़ भागने लगती है क्योंकि, कमरे में उसका बच्चा अकेला TV देख रहा होता है| जैसे ही उर्मिला, कमरे में पहुँचती है तो, उसका बेटा खिड़की से कूदने वाला ही होता है कि, उर्मिला उसका पैर पकड़ लेती है और वह खिड़की से लटक जाता है| उर्मिला पूरी ताक़त से, उसे ऊपर खींचती है, लेकिन बच्चा फिर भी कूदने की ज़िद कर रहा होता है| उर्मिला किसी क़दर अपने बच्चे को क़ाबू में करती है और कमरे के बाहर आ जाती है और वह मज़दूरों से पूछती है, “बताओ क्या है, इस हवेली में, क्योंकि ये बच्चा तो ऐसा नहीं कर सकता और अभी यह सब जो हो रहा है, कुछ अलग ही चल रहा है”| तभी एक बूढ़ा मज़दूर उर्मिला से कहता है, “बेटी ज़्यादा जानना हो तो, अपने पूर्वजों की कहानी पढ़ो| तभी तुम्हें इस हवेली का इतिहास पता चलेगा”| इस हवेली की कहानी की किताब, इसी गाँव के सरपंच के घर में रखी होती है जो, कि बहुत साल पहले मर चुके थे, लेकिन अब भी उनके बेटों के पास, वह किताब मौजूद थी| उर्मिला सरपंच के घर पहुँचती है और किताब ले लेती है| किताब पढ़ते ही, उसे पता चलता है कि, इस हवेली में एक नौकर नौकरानी भी थे, जिनके बीच में बहुत प्यार था और वह कई सालों से, हवेली की सेवा कर रहे थे, लेकिन एक बार रानी के शाही गहने चोरी हो गए और उसके शंका में, राजा ने नौकरानी को, चोरी की सज़ा दी और उसे ज़िंदा दफ़ना दिया गया| उसके ग़म में, उसके पति ने भी अपनी जान दे दी और उसके एक महीने बाद ही, उस राजा ने अपनी ही तलवार, अपने गले में घुसेड़ कर, आत्महत्या कर ली| उसके बाद छोटे मोटे हादसे, हवेली में होने लगे, जिस वजह से यह हवेली हमेशा के लिए बंद कर दी गई| कई सालों के बाद वहाँ कोई आया है, जिससे वहाँ रहने वाली आत्माओं को मौक़ा मिल गया, फिर से बदला लेने का| उर्मिला हवेली का रहस्य जानकर, यहाँ से जाना चाहती है, क्योंकि उसे अपने बच्चे की चिंता है, इसलिए वह रात में ही, कार लेकर एयरपोर्ट के लिए निकल जाती है, अचानक रास्ते में, उसकी कार का एक्सिडेंट हो जाता है और कार पलट कर, उल्टा हो जाती है, लेकिन दोनों को कोई नुक़सान नहीं होता|
उर्मिला अपने बच्चे को बाहर निकाल लेती है और सुनसान सड़क पर भागने लगती है| रास्ते में उसे एक कार आते दिखाई देती है और कार रोकने के लिए उर्मिला, सड़क के बीच में खड़ी हो जाती है और अपनी मदद के लिए चिल्लाने लगती है| तभी अचानक कार वाला आकर कार का ब्रेक लगा देता है| उर्मिला पास जाकर देखती है तो, उसकी हिम्मत बढ़ जाती है क्योंकि यह एक पुलिस ऑफ़िसर होता है| उर्मिला हड़बड़ाहट में, उसे अपनी बात कहती है और रोने लगती है| पुलिस ऑफ़िसर, उन्हें अपनी गाड़ी में बैठने को कहते हैं और रोड में जाने लगते हैं| रास्ते में एक बूढ़ा सड़क पर जा रहा होता है और इनकी कार के सामने आते ही, रोड पर गिर जाता है| पुलिस ऑफ़िसर गाड़ी से उतरकर, उस व्यक्ति को देखते है| बूढ़ा व्यक्ति बेहोश हो चुका था| पुलिस ऑफ़िसर, उसे गोद में उठाकर अपनी गाड़ी में पीछे बैठा देता है और अस्पताल के लिए चलने लगते है| अचानक उस बूढ़े व्यक्ति का हाथ, पीछे से पुलिस ऑफ़िसर की गर्दन तक पहुँच जाता है| पुलिस ऑफ़िसर छटपटाने लगते हैं और अचानक गाड़ी का ब्रेक लगा देते है| गाड़ी की स्पीड कम होने की वजह से, कार वहीं खड़ी हो जाती है और ऑफ़िसर अपनी गन निकाल कर, बूढ़े की तरफ़ निशाना लगाकर गोली चला देता है|
बूढ़े की सर में गोली लगने से भी, उसकी जान नहीं जाती है| महिला और पुलिस ऑफ़िसर दोनों समझ चुके थे कि, यह कोई भूत है| भूत को देखते ही, उर्मिला अपने बच्चों को लेकर बाहर निकल जाती है और इसी बीच, पुलिस ऑफ़िसर भूत की पकड़ से अपने आप को छुड़ाने में क़ामयाब हो जाते हैं| पुलिस ऑफ़िसर के बाहर निकलते ही, तीनों बाहर रोड से भागने लगते हैं और कुछ देर भागते हुए उन्हें, सड़क के किनारे जगमगाती लाइट्स दिख रही होती है| पुलिस ऑफ़िसर उर्मिला से कहते हैं कि, “मैडम यह एयरपोर्ट है| जल्दी चलिए”| उर्मिला अपने बच्चों को लेकर एयरपोर्ट के अंदर पहुँच जाती है| एयरपोर्ट पहुँचते ही, उर्मिला की जान में जान आ जाती है, क्योंकि पुलिस ऑफ़िसर की बहादुरी की वजह से, उसके बच्चे की जान बच गई थी लेकिन हवेली में भूतिया ताक़तों का आधिपत्य, अभी तक बना है और इसी के साथ खूंखार भूतिया कहानी ख़त्म हो जाती है|

Haunted Mansion
Spiritual forces are always hovering around us. They have their own world, which is not visible in reality, but can certainly be felt through certain events. This is the story of a ghost in such a mansion. There is an old mansion where kings and queens used to live many years ago, but now it lies deserted because the descendants of those kings have left the country. The mansion is in a dilapidated condition and needs repairs. According to the government notice, the property owner is informed about this. After a few days, a woman, one of the descendants of the former kings, arrives at the mansion with her child. She was the granddaughter of the king from that era. Her name was Urmila. Her husband had died in a car accident, and she was now a widow, but she had an eight-year-old son who had also come to the mansion with her. The mansion was very large, so several laborers were hired to clean it. They were given the contract to clean every nook and cranny. No one knew how many bloody secrets were hidden in every corner of the mansion. After Urmila's arrival, the atmosphere of the mansion became spiritual. It seemed as if someone had been waiting for years for the heir of this mansion.
One night, Urmila was sleeping in her room with her child when suddenly a bird crashed into her window and died. This incident was unusual in itself. As soon as the bird hit the window, Urmila woke up, and when she turned on the light, she screamed in fear because a bird was stuck in the window, and drops of blood were falling from its body onto the floor. The sight was so terrifying that she didn't want to pick up her child, but Urmila, gathering her courage, threw the bird out of the window. However, she couldn't sleep all night and stayed awake until morning. She wanted to find out if it was someone's prank. As soon as morning arrived, she went to the laborers working there and said, "Last night, a bird hit my room window and died instantly. Did any of you do this? Because a bird can't hit the window by itself." The laborers said, "No, we haven't seen any dead bird below the window. We just came from there." When everyone went to look, the bird was gone. Urmila started to panic. What was this? The bird should be there, or at least some drops of blood should be visible, but there wasn't even a single feather of the bird. Urmila told all the laborers, "There are many valuable things and statues in the mansion, clean carefully." The laborers got back to their work. Urmila was watching TV in her room with her child when suddenly a laborer fell from the roof of the mansion. Urmila suddenly heard people's voices. She ran to the window and looked down, and saw the dead body of a laborer.
Urmila comes downstairs from her room and asks about the reason for the fall. The people's answers are varied. Some are saying that the person committed suicide, while others are saying that it was an accidental fall. Everyone had different claims, but Urmila sensed that there was something unspoken. Suddenly, a voice whispers in Urmila's ear, "If you can save your child, then save him." As soon as Urmila hears this, she runs towards her room because her child is alone watching TV in the room. As Urmila reaches the room, her son is about to jump out of the window, but Urmila grabs his leg, and he is left hanging from the window. Urmila pulls him up with all her strength, but the child is still insisting on jumping. Urmila somehow manages to control her child and comes out of the room. She asks the laborers, "Tell me, what is going on in this mansion? Because this child wouldn't do something like this, and what's happening now is something completely different." Then an old laborer tells Urmila, "Daughter, if you want to know more, read the story of your ancestors. Only then will you know the history of this mansion." The book containing the story of this mansion is kept in the house of the village headman, who had died many years ago, but his sons still possessed the book. Urmila goes to the headman's house and gets the book. As she reads the book, she learns that there was a servant and a maid in this mansion who were deeply in love and had been serving the mansion for many years. But once, the queen's royal jewels were stolen, and suspecting the maid, the king punished her for the theft and had her buried alive. In her grief, her husband also took his own life, and a month later, the king committed suicide by thrusting his own sword into his throat. After that, minor accidents began to occur in the mansion, due to which the mansion was permanently closed. After many years, someone finally arrived there, giving the spirits residing there an opportunity to seek revenge again. Urmila, having learned the secret of the mansion, wants to leave because she is worried about her child. So, she leaves for the airport in her car at night. Suddenly, her car has an accident and overturns, but neither of them is harmed.
Urmila pulls her child out of the car and starts running down the deserted road. She sees a car approaching and stands in the middle of the road to stop it, shouting for help. Suddenly, the driver stops the car. Urmila approaches and is relieved to see that it's a police officer. In her panic, she tells him her story and starts crying. The police officer tells them to get in his car and they drive off. On the way, an old man is walking on the road and falls in front of their car. The police officer gets out of the car to check on the man. The old man was unconscious. The police officer lifts him into the back of his car and starts driving towards the hospital. Suddenly, the old man's hand reaches out from behind and grabs the police officer's neck. The police officer struggles and suddenly slams on the brakes. Because of the reduced speed, the car stops, and the officer pulls out his gun, aims at the old man, and fires.
Even after being shot in the head, the old man doesn't die. Both the woman and the police officer realize that this is a ghost. Upon seeing the ghost, Urmila rushes outside with her children, and meanwhile, the police officer manages to free himself from the ghost's grip. As soon as the police officer gets out, all three of them start running down the road, and after running for some time, they see bright lights along the roadside. The police officer tells Urmila, "Madam, this is the airport. Let's hurry!" Urmila and her children reach the airport. Upon arriving at the airport, Urmila breathes a sigh of relief because, thanks to the police officer's bravery, her children's lives were saved. However, the haunted mansion remains under the control of the ghostly forces, and with this, the terrifying ghost story comes to an end.
